History of Creedmoor Community Church
HISTORY
SMALL BEGINNINGS
- Pastor Jerry A Bush took his dream and with help from Manchaca Baptist church they launched inside an old Mexican restaurant located on Hwy 183 in Mustang Ridge.
- Jerry Bush was Pastor till February 10, 1993 when he passed away from cancer.
- May 25, 1997 C. Walter May Jr. took over Southeast Baptist Church as pastor with a mission to move and grow in our community. Pastor Walter had a vision for moving Southeast Baptist Church to Creedmoor even before anyone else could see it.
- With the help of Menchaca Baptist Church, The Texas Baptist Men and numerous volunteers Southeast Baptist Church moved to The current location in Creedmoor, Texas.
- On April 30, 2006 Creedmoor Community Church was dedicated to the Community of Creedmoor.
- C. Walter May, Jr. was pastor of Creedmoor Baptist Church till his passing on February 2, 2021
- Head deacon Craig Scoot took over running the day to day operations and took Walters vision forward.
- In July of 2025 Pastor Scott Zediker took over as Pastor of Creedmoor Community Church
